The trip ends.
This doesn't.
Most travel companies sell you a product and disappear. The group is the product here, and it keeps running long after the flight home.

Traveller stories
In their words
Placeholder stories written in-house for this concept build. We will never publish a testimonial we did not receive and get permission for.
"I booked it three days after a breakup, which is either the best or worst reason to go somewhere. By day four I had stopped explaining myself to anyone."
"I have travelled solo for years and always ended up in the same hostel conversation. This was the first time I was in someone's actual house."
"Seven strangers, one broken-down van, four hours on a roadside. Somehow the highlight. You cannot design that, you can only leave room for it."

House rules
How a group stays good
No main character
Everyone gets a turn choosing dinner, the playlist and the detour. Groups fail when one person runs them.
Solo is the default
Most people arrive alone. Nothing here is priced, seated or organised as though couples are the standard.
Ask before you post
People's homes are not content. We ask, every time, and we accept no as an answer.
It doesn't end at the airport
The group chat, the meetups, the story nights. The trip is the beginning of the membership, not the product.
Events
Things we do at home
Story Nights
In person · quarterly
One evening, five travellers, five stories, no slides longer than a minute. Hosted in a bar back room in a different city each time.
Concept — first edition not yet scheduled
Pre-departure dinners
In person · before each trip
Where possible, the group eats together before they fly. Nobody should meet their travel companions at passport control.
Running with demo groups
Route Council
Online · twice a year
Past travellers vote on which regions we open next and which local hosts we approach first.
