LOST FOR REAL
A winding mountain road cutting through misty rice terraces

How it works

Four steps.
No small print.

01

Choose your trip

Browse the routes, or let the match quiz read your mood and point you at one. Every trip page shows the real rhythm of the days — no mystery, no fine print.

Tell us your dates and we hold your spot while we talk. Nothing is charged on this site today.

02

Join the group

Six to eight travellers, mostly solo, mostly 20–35. We introduce the group before departure so nobody arrives at the airport feeling like the new kid.

Solo travellers are the default here, not an awkward exception. Room-sharing is opt-in, never assumed.

03

Meet the place

A local co-host travels with you. Their friends become your friends. Their kitchens become your dinners. This is the part other companies outsource.

Small groups mean we can accept last-minute invitations. A wedding, a harvest, a football match — we say yes.

04

Come back different

You go home with a group chat that won't shut up, a phone full of faces instead of monuments, and a slightly different idea of how to live.

Travellers stay in the community afterwards: meetups, story nights, and first access to new routes.

Why six to eight

The number is the product

Under six and a group is fragile — one bad mood sets the temperature for everyone. Over eight and it splits into cliques, needs a coach, and stops fitting inside anybody's home.

Six to eight is the largest group that can still be invited to dinner. That is the whole reasoning. It is also why we can accept a last-minute invitation to a wedding, a harvest or a football match — a group of forty simply cannot.

One local co-host travels with you for the full route, start to finish. Not a different guide in each city. The same person, whose friends become your friends.
