LOST FOR REAL

About

We started this
because travel
got boring.

Founder vision

The trip that started it was, on paper, a failure.

A bus broke down four hours from anywhere. There was no plan B, no signal and no English. A family with a workshop and a lot of patience took five strangers in for the night, fed them, and refused money in the morning.

Everything we had actually paid for on that trip — the tickets, the hotels, the bookable, reviewable, photographable things — is now a blur. That one evening is not.

Lost For Real exists to make that the design brief instead of the accident. We cannot promise the broken bus. We can build trips small enough, slow enough and local enough that when it happens, we are inside somebody's kitchen rather than waiting for a replacement coach.

We are early. This is the first version of a company, published honestly as a concept — real philosophy, real routes in progress, demo data where the operation does not exist yet. We would rather show you the thinking than fake the scale.

The feeling we design for

What we hold to

Five principles

01

People before places

A place is only as good as the people who let you into it. We build every route around humans first, landmarks second.

02

Small groups, deeper connections

Six to eight travellers. Big enough for energy, small enough to fit around one table and inside one family home.

03

Less tourism, more reality

We skip the queue by not joining it. Real neighbourhoods, working villages, ordinary Tuesdays.

04

Leave room for the unexpected

Every trip has deliberate empty space. Plans are a floor, not a ceiling.

05

Travel should change you

If you come home the exact same person, we did something wrong.
